Upgrade-Meldung

ZFS auf MacOS erstellt per default einen ZPool in Version 6, verwendet im System allerdings Version 8.

% zpool status
  pool: tank
 state: ONLINE
status: The pool is formatted using an older on-disk format. The pool can
        still be used, but some features are unavailable.
action: Upgrade the pool using 'zpool upgrade'. Once this is done, the
        pool will no longer be accessible on older software versions.

Das Upgrade läuft problemlos und sollte auch durchgeführt werden. Es dauert nur wenige Sekunden.

% zpool upgrade tank
This system is currently running ZFS pool version 8.

Successfully upgraded 'tank' from version 6 to version 8

Der Pool kann bis zu Version 8 upgegraded werden (Stand: Dezember 2009).
